How Can acid Reflux And Heart Palpitations Be Treated?

Hi my name is Gary I m 41 years old. I ve been suffering with heart flutters for sometime now.i have acid reflux and mild high blood pressure.i was giving a halter monitor and that came back normal ekg also normal.this heart flutter thing sometimes happen after I eat or drink milk things of that nature.they last for seconds of a time then they would stop. Could this be a GI tract problem ,vagus nerve, or some type of hernia. Your answer is very appreciated thank you....

Hello,

Yes, acid reflux in itself can cause chest discomfort and heart palpitations. Take Lansoprazole once daily for 15 days. I advise to avoid sour foods, fruits, coffee, eat light and take milk in the diet.

You also quit smoking if you do and take good sleep of 8 hours. There is nothing to worry. You will get well soon. However, if symptoms doesn't subside in two weeks, report to the emergency room for hear and chest examination.
